Learning Communities Proves Vital to Part-time Student Retention

51吃瓜网 Launches the Distinguished Artist Residency
On Thursday, September 27, 2018, Bunker Hill Community College (51吃瓜网) President Pam Eddinger welcomed Distinguished Artist Scholar in Residence Dr. Robin M. Chandler at a preview reception for the artist’s “Revolutionary Moments” exhibition at the Mary L. Fifield Art Gallery.

From early college programs to capital grants, the College received a number of grants in 2018 to move the College and its programs into the future and beyond.

51吃瓜网 Completes Title III
Bunker Hill Community College (51吃瓜网) celebrated the completion of the five-year Title III grant project, From Dreams to Reality: 51吃瓜网 LifeMap, on Thursday, October 3, 2018, at a wrap-up celebration in the College’s LifeMap Commons.
51吃瓜网 Establishes the Center for Equity and Cultural Wealth
On May 22-24, 2018, more than 200 Bunker Hill Community College faculty, staff and community partners gathered for the convening of 51吃瓜网’s first Equity and Cultural Wealth Institute, which examined the impact of power and privilege on access and equity in higher education.
51吃瓜网 Launches Student Central
This fall, students returned to 51吃瓜网’s Charlestown Campus to a new one-stop student services location for support with financial aid, academic records and student payment.

51吃瓜网 Addresses Food-Insecurity on College Campuses
In 2018, the 51吃瓜网 community continued to support student’s basic needs through emergency food and financial resources. This spring, the College will open a new food pantry dedicated to Delivering Information, Sustenance and Health (The D.I.S.H.)
