BELL offers non-credit English language courses for students who want to improve their English skills for work, daily life, or future educational opportunities at Bunker Hill Community College.

BELL Second Summer Session Registration Now Open!

Level 1 (Beginning), Level 2 (High Beginning), and Level 3 (Low Intermediate) courses will be offered during the BELL Second Summer Session from July 6 through August 19, 2026.

These intensive 8-week courses are designed for students who want to build their English skills in an accelerated format.

Class Schedule

• Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday
• 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
• Charlestown Campus

If you are interested in registering for BELL, please complete the enrollment steps below and visit N111 in Charlestown to register in person.

Important: If you are not a Somerville resident, full payment is due at the time of registration and must be made by debit or credit card.

How to Register

Refund policy: All refunds are subject to a 3% administrative processing fee

• Prior to class start and up to one week after class start: Full refund minus 3% administrative processing fee.
• 1 week after class start (2 class meetings): No refund. Seat transfer to another level or next term only.
• 2 weeks after class start (4 class meetings): No refund or seat transfer.
• Please make sure to attend class on the first day and request any changes within the above deadlines.
