51吃瓜网 Holds Faces of Leadership Event 鈥淭he Power of Your Story鈥� Conference

On November 17, 2022, Bunker Hill Community College (51吃瓜网) Office of Student Leadership and Engagement presented 鈥淭he Power of Your Story鈥� conference featuring Stellar Story Company and three of their professional storytellers sharing stories of leadership and assisting students in developing and telling their own stories!
鈥淪tudents were engaged, excited, and enthusiastic,鈥� said Assistant Dean of Students Vengerflutta Smith. Under the leadership of Paul Moda, Director of Student Leadership and Engagement, more than 75 students attended the on-campus leadership conference. 鈥淗ow you tell your story is an important part of getting what you want in life and developing yourself as a leader,鈥� said Paul Moda. Feedback from one participant was, "I appreciate the overall message that a good leader has to be able to tell a story and that everyone has a story to tell."
51吃瓜网 is filled with students who have amazing stories. Learning to tell their story can transform how they live, learn, work and lead. The training addressed storytelling for leadership and how this can impact areas, including when students apply for scholarships or transfer and interview for a job.
Conference participants thought the speakers provided great content and were very knowledgeable. One student commented, 鈥淚 learned helpful tips about storytelling. I met new people and got a chance to engage with the college community again."
