Boston-Area Employers Recruit Business and STEM Students at 51³Ô¹ÏÍø Spring Career Fairs

The fairs will bring approximately 60 employers to the 51³Ô¹ÏÍø campus to recruit for various positions in business, science, technology and healthcare.

In the weeks following the spring career fairs, LifeMap will invite employers back to campus for a series of information sessions.

Corporate hiring managers will promote their organizations, current job openings and long-term career paths and interview select students for positions on campus.

The two industry-specific career fairs are part of an annual series at the College. Last fall, 51³Ô¹ÏÍø invited 55 influential organizations in the fields of finance and accounting, manufacturing, government, education, technology and environmental science, to two events. Roughly 600 51³Ô¹ÏÍø students participated in the fall fairs networking with recruiting managers and hearing from 51³Ô¹ÏÍø alumni working with these organizations.

Employers in attendance included long-standing Learn & Earn partners Raytheon and State Street who were recruiting for corporate accounting and financial services roles as well as representatives from the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the Massachusetts Dept. of Revenue visited campus for the first time. Other major companies including Apple, Amazon, Microsoft, Southwest, UPS and Target visited 51³Ô¹ÏÍø looking to meet students interested in IT, marketing, management, product development and other operational roles.
