Transfer 101 - Planning and Exploring
(Recommended for students with 0-30 credits) This workshop will focus on the first two stages of transferring: Preparing and Exploring. Students will receive an overview of statewide transfer programs and incentives, how to transfer credits, searching for colleges, and other resources to clarify the transfer process. Recommended for students who are learning about transferring for the first time. Its never too early to begin thinking about transfer!

We are pleased to welcome prospective first-year students to campus for a tour. Led by an admission counselor, this hour and half visit includes a Bunker Hill application overview and a campus tour. The overview covers the admission process and financial aid, followed up by a student led tour.

Planning for an Aging Population: Assessing Metropolitan Planning Organizations’ Approaches, Gaps, and Innovations
Guest Speaker: Sophia Ashebir, Graduate Research Assistant, MIT AgeLab
Sophia Ashebir is a researcher at the MIT AgeLab, where she contributes to projects focused on transportation, vaccine uptake and preventive health, and ageism. She manages the Lab’s 85+ Lifestyle Leaders panel as well as its Aging and Equity Speaker Series. Sophia’s research centers on mobility and transportation access, with a particular interest in how these factors evolve as people age and how they shape independence and quality of life. Her work emphasizes equitable and inclusive approaches to aging-related challenges.
